A minor patch release for Jobline v1.1.3 has been released. It contains fixes for a possible security hole, so everyone running Jobline should upgrade.

The release also includes an updated French translation, extended by Rob Mills and Mel Nahum, and Catalan translation by Edu Richard.

Jx List Files v1.2 has been released. New features: Better CSS file sent in by Doug Ludlow. Now allows to change the sort order and direction.

A native Joomla 1.5 module to list the files of a directory on your web server.

Main features:

• List files from a directory on your web server.
• Can add links to the files.
• Translatable, delivered with English and Swedish
• Icons to display the type of file.
• View template to change the html.
• CSS file to manage the look.
• Hide specific files from the list.
• Sort by filename, file size or date either ascending or descending.

I've found some time lately and have done some minor updates to thing. These will be released as soon as I have time to package them properly.

Some of the things to come:

• Rewritten version of Jx Title Flag for Joomla 1.5 native
• Minor bug fixes to Jobline, fixing a few backend issues.
• A new release candidate of Jambook 1.0, which should fix most known major problems. It also contains importer for another guestbook component, BookJoomlas.
• This site, Jx Development, will finally be upgraded to Joomla 1.5.
• I'm only half-way through updating Mamblog to work with Joomla 1.5 yet, but will hopefully get that finished some time too.
• Complete redisign of Jx Development with upgrade, hopefully making it prettier, as well as easier to find some information.
• Updates to Jx List Files with a few new features.
• New plugin that I'm using on this site to show the "Component Showcase" boxes. This is a sort of templating system that allows the admin to use the same html for different data easily. In conjunction with a content includer this has made me able to include these little boxes in different places on the site.
• Jobline v1.2 has been a long time in the making, but I'll hopefully be able to release a beta version soon. I've released an alpha version to a few people already and I've been getting good feedback on it.

That's probably not all, but it's all I can think of right now.

The next version of Jobline will be version 1.2. This has been in development for a long time, and it will contain lots of new features. I'm currently working on adding in extra features added for clients and cleaning up the code, fixing bugs in all the new stuff etc.

Even though most of the work is already done, there is still much left to do. I'm working on this off and on, whenever I have time, but it is going to take a while. I can't give any esitimation on when I will have this version finished, it will be released when it is done.

The module Jx Latest Commented has been updated with the ability to list the latest entries from Jambook. This is basically the same functionality as in the module Jx Show Jambook. The version for Joomla 1.5 has also been updated with some fixes to work better with Joomla 1.5 Native.
